The Boy With the Pale Skin Is Live

The story of a young boy and his odd friend. One of them may save humanity. The audiobook is 4.99
Yeah, I made the cover myself. I do everything! Yeah, it sucks. No, the fraggin' book ain't worth me commissioning a decent cover by a real artist. This has now replaced No, You Can't Have It as my least favorite book. I don't know what I was thinking of when I wrote it. Fraggin' arrogant. Think I can write any thing, any genre. BS! Anyway, by the time I realized what I'd written I was too far along to stop. So I'm gonna peddle it to you unsuspecting rub... I mean, cultured and intelligent readers/listeners. HAR!
The audiobook Instant download $4.99

The e-book for Kindle $2.99 Amazon
The e-book for other devices $2.99 smashwords

To my usual fans and henchman, let me state right off: this is not Dunkin, or Devlin, or Gabe.

This is unlike anything I have written before. It’s a fantasy. Maybe young adult genre.

You have been warned! HAR!

Devlin 4 is well underway, so if ya want to wait for my usual nonsense—I don't mind. And I promise, I will never write anything like this again.

I’m a storyteller. And what motivates me to undertake any certain novel is a mystery I have little interest in pursuing. For those new to my work, do not purchase the other novels thinking all my work is in a similar vein to this sample of 'The Boy With the Pale Skin—they aren't.

Anyway, this is the story of a young boy and his odd friend. One of them may save humanity.

Enjoy an advance listen to the first three chapters of the Boy with the Pale Skin which I am editing the final half of right now.

Har! Thanks, Alex! It's a departure. But there will always be some egotistical bastard who thinks they can write anything. I've been told this is my best book. But you know what I say, my next book is my best one. I appreciate yer taking time to holler at me, and I guarantee this one will entertain—despi te the non-Devlin level violence content! Greg

Haven't listened yet, just came over to see what was up with all this new content all at once.
I can still say, thanks, Greg!

No apologies necessary. I used to wonder why authors wrote only one kind of book, it seemed kind of boring for them. Now I know that publishers dictate what gets paid for, and so direct what gets written. No publisher = no limits.

I can't take it. Release the rest of the book already. Great stuff, especially considering neither rum nor vampires have been mentioned once.

I absolutely LOVE this book so far. It's totally different from anything we've heard you do. I can't wait for the rest because I already have theories about who/what Albert is and I'm dying to see if any of them pan out.

The cover is simple, noticeable, easily recognized on Iphone and lends to the mysterious nature of the story. When simple works don't complicate it by freaking "fixing it"

Yeah, first your eye starts twitching, arms and leg tremors follow, people hear you mumbling "bastitch" under your breathe. Been there.

See, apparently I am completely out of touch. Many enjoy that book while I, (well, honestly I can't remember it cuz I write 'em and forget 'em) recall that I didn't impress myself. Maybe I am drinking too much. Nah. HAR!

Greg,

You truly underestimate the connection some people have with "Boy with the pale skin" it is a powerful tail that leaves an echo in the mind for some time. You pulled all the right heart cords, and twanged the funny bone.

You may be your own worse critic.

It was worth the wait.

Thanks.

I'm on chapter 4 and am enthralled. You're writing is always fun and this book is intriguing. I know that you always say that NYCHI is one of your least favorite books. I have to be honest, that is my favorite book of yours. This will be a close second.

You pays yer money in expectations you will be taken on a voyage with a seasoned, competent captain at the helm. One who will navigate the story along an interesting and entertaining path. I drink too much to remember if I have done so and by the time I write 'The End' I'm mentally enmeshed in whatever new story I've taken a fancy to. I appreciate hearing that an effort did not disappoint. When writing one, I'm never sure. When finished, I'm ambivalent— because my next book will be my best book. And it never is. HAR! Thanks! Greg

You know Greg, I've been working on my own book for almost two years now and am still no where to being done. I don't know how you do it. You write this stuff, not only quickly, but in such a way that the yarns you spin are greatly entertaining and fun to listen to. Your recordings have their unique and enjoyable style and your use of language is fantastic. I'm jealous at your proficiency and prolific output. Keep up the good works, both for us fans and for those who read and listen to your stuff to learn from a master. :)

Okay, nuff sucking up. When's Crusade II coming out you lazy bastage! LOL hahahahah

Okay, I listened to the book, loved it, thought it was awesome and intriguing, but what now? I'm left hanging wondering where life will lead the two heroes. So, Greg, what's up. Is there a sequel you're thinking about? I'd love to know how life progresses with Thomas and Albert.

Heck no! I will never try to write that kind of stuff again. I'd have to be completely drunk. Biblically drunk. Drunk to the point of taking three steps and disappearing in a rum fume fog. Nope, I'm sticking to what I'm best at—drinking... HAR! Devlin 4 is in the batter's box. Crusodomy is not being delivered this year. That book requires a frame of mind I am not often able to attain. Devlin 4 is about done, and it is damn funny. Back to his roots.
