Hey! This is where we'll build a repository of stuff ya ask about. Just post anything you'd like added as a comment and sooner-or-later I'll add it to this crap.

Q. How does it work?

A. When you make the purchase at Paypal, you will be magically transported back to your download page, so don't close your browser. Also, you will receive an email link to the same download page just in case. Sometimes, and it is rare, you will close your browser, and the email will disappear into the cyber void. This happens about once every 100 sales. If you closed your browser after the sale before Paypal sent you to your download page, and you don't receive your email link within a few minutes, use the contact form at the top every page on this site and I will send you a link personally.

Q. My link expired before I could get everything downloaded. What can I do?

A. Use the contact form at the top of every page in this crappy website. Tell me yer sad story and I'll reactivate the link—when I sober up.

Q. What format are the files in?

A. All files are sent as a compressed .zip format and when uncompressed you will find one standard mp3 file for each chapter.

Q. How do I get my audiobook?

A. As soon as your transaction through paypal is completed you will receive an email containing a link to download your book.

Q. What if I have trouble downloading?

A. The link is good for 48 hours or two attempts at downloading. If you experience difficulties use the CONTACT form at the top of every page on this site.

Q. How can I listen to my audiobook?

A. Any device which will play mp3's can play your audiobook files. This includes software on your computer, your laptop, iTunes, Zune, iPod, numerous cellular phones with mp3 storage and playback feature, etc.

Q. Can Audio files be transferred to portable players?
A. Yes. Hundreds of devices are currently supported, which includes the majority of mp3 players from major manufacturers (including all iPods) and some other gadgets: PDAs, mobile phones and GPS devices.

Q. Can I copy the files onto audio CDs and listen on my hi-fi or in-car system?

A. Yes! Copying the files to an audio CD can be done using the proper procedures for your operating system. e.g. windows, mac, linux, etc. Google for tutorials on your system. Also, remember you need a car stereo capable of playing mp3 files or you must convert your mp3 to AAC, AIFF or some other format compatible with older CD players. There is a wealth of information on the net.

Q. Am I breaking the law by downloading these audio files?
A. No! ALL of the content on this site has been approved by the publishers and copyright holders. As a paying customer you are entitled to download and listen to these files as often as you wish and on whatever equipment you wish. However, like any other media, it is illegal to make copies of the files and give them to other people.

Q. How long will it take to download the audio files?
A. It will vary greatly depending on what kind of Internet connection you have. If you have a broadband connection it will take just a few minutes per part. If you have a 56k dial-up connection it will be considerably slower (forget it-order a dvd). If a recording is several hours long we will have split it into several parts to make it easier to download so even if you are on a slow connection you can start listening to the first part while the others are downloading.

Q. Can I listen to a sample of the audio before I decide to make a purchase?
A. Yes! All of the titles include a sample that you can listen to before deciding to make a purchase. Use the search function to find samples of a particular title.

Q. Do I need any special software to play these audio files?
A. No. All the files on this site will work on a standard PC/Mac/etc.

Q. Do you offer a guarantee?
A. Yes. We guarantee you will receive a working link to your purchased audiobook. However, the very nature of electronic files are essentially non-returnable; so there are no refunds.
