A little about Cthwholhu. I'd written approximately ten-thousand words when I realized not everyone would be familiar with the works of H.P. Lovecraft comprising the Cthulhu Mythos. So, I tabled it and worked on Devlin Case File: The Undescended Testicle. Then, while drinking, it all became clear. I could use the Cthulhu work to make a clever segue into Undescended Testicle. Cthwholhu provided a much better motivation for the events that will transpire in Devlin 7. As always, enjoy, and thank you.

As I gave lovingly at my copy of "The Dunkin Trilogy" I realize this looks to be as awesome as your other works... While some may view the legends of the old ones sacrosanct, I praise them that you do not. Bring it on.

Glad someone realizes what I'm doing as by the time I realized not everyone has read Lovecraft—it was written. So, some folks won't be in on the spirit of the thing. Still, Devlin will set things right. If he can get by the long-winded, convoluted sentence structure, riddled with adjectives, adverbs, and pedantic prose. Thank you, James! Oh! And I'm not making fun of H.P. Lovecraft's style. I'm actually quite impressed with the depth of his vocabulary and general knowledge of science in his era. I remember enjoying his work many years ago. Plus, I am fond of attempting to replicate another author's style. Also, it switches to third-person narrative after this.

I really like the idea of some Devlin Novellas. What a great way to flesh out the "Devlinverse". I would love to see some stories written from the perspective of Aggie and some of the other secondary characters. Saude!
