Not The Literary Lugwrench Clodcast #19

Veinarmory-Blog - Literary Lugwrench

Hey! I slipped an extra podcast in there. It's Not The Literary Lugwrench Clodcast #19. Har! It contains a reading of Mark Twain's Journalism In Tennessee. A funny story from the 1870's. I am thinking of occasionally setting an old comedy piece to audio just as an example of funny stuf from long ago. It will be in addition to the usual Literary Lugwrench nonsense. Feel free to bitch at me if you don't like it. Then be prepared for my counter flamage. Heh!

That extra podcast was just what I needed to make my Friday! It may not have been your work, but it was just as funny! I'm not opposed to having other such items dropped when ever the mood strikes you!

Thank you, sir! I am glad someone sees the value of humor—no matter when it was penned! Twain was a genuinely funny writer. I may track down some Thurber and Mencken for the future. And for those who don't already know, Henry L. Mencken was my first inspiration. Reading him infused me with a desire to write biting commentary. It's how I cut my writing teeth, on editorials. It's also how I got fired from numerous newspapers. Heh!
